When to go

Nepal has the typical monsoonal, two-season year. The dry season runs from October to May and there’s the wet (monsoon) season from June to September.

Autumn (September to November) and spring (March to May) bring near perfect weather and are definitely the best times to come to Nepal.

Due to its lower altitude, Pokhara is warmer and more pleasant than Kathmandu during winter, but hotter before the monsoon and wetter during it.

Getting there

Kathmandu is Nepal’s only international airport, and there are several international Airlines that offer flights. The flight time from the UK is 10 hours.

You may find it more cost effective to get an indirect flight via New Delhi.
